WITH BATED BREATH PROJECT
On the first day of the calendar spring – the symbolic day of life’s return – on March 21, 2021, I STARTED THE BIGGEST OF ALL OUR PROJECTS, completely personal and private:
I plan to complete this huge project in the year of my 70th birthday, which is 2025. According to the assumption, With Bated Breath will be the last part of our LIFE TRIPTYCH ABOUT THE BIAŁOWIEŻA FOREST. From the beginning of our creative work, we are faithful to the subject of the primeval forest and we want to leave the following trace of us – this is how we would like to be remembered:
HEARTBEAT OF THE PRIMEVAL FOREST,
SAGA OF THE ANCIENT FOREST,
WITH BATED BREATH.
For nearly 40 years of creative work, we have usually kept our works secret during the production stage until they were ready to be presented to a wide audience. Other authors of films, books, exhibitions, etc. have done exactly the same. This time, however, I would like to break this rule, at least partially.
The world has changed – thanks to the Internet, news travels instantly. I thought that observing how a new, complex artistic project about the ancient Białowieża Forest is being created might interest its future audience. Why, then, could the future viewers not be able to experience together with the author the adventure of creating this work, even if only a little?
However, I would like to loyally warn you that there are many things I cannot say – for a simple reason. I will not give up the value of novelty and originality of the artwork, I will not deprive anyone of the thrill of getting to know and experience the unknown. I also do not intend to spoil anyone’s feast of communing with the finished pieces under the sign of With Bated Breath – during the premiere. Especially as it will be the premiere of several multimedia forms at once.
Over the course of the few years of creating With Bated Breath, however, I’m going to reveal some details, though not immediately, but rather step by step. For this purpose, I have placed two active cells/tabs at the bottom of this tab:
- A VENTURE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN,
- THE AUTHOR’S VISION.
Two more cell/sub tabs will be active in the future, presumably from the middle of the implementation of this huge – as for one author – project:
- ON LOCATION,
- FRAGMENTS REVEALED.
I hope With Bated Breath project will gain a group of friends supporting my ideas and waiting for the final effect. However – which seems justified – I will reveal most of the announcements and teasers of various elements of the project only in the last months before the premiere.
So, new Friends, Supporters and Enthusiasts of the venture With Bated Breath, I kindly ask you to cheer and A LOT, A LOT OF PATIENCE while waiting for exciting effects. See you for further reports on this venture!
